With Hurricane Matthew barreling towards North Carolina, we worked to get the 2016 imagery for the coastal plain online to help those potentially impacted by the storm. Although the imagery had not completed the quality control process, it was obvious to us that making it available was the right call. However, we made this available knowing that this would be a temporary resource. The imagery still needs to complete the quality review process as outlined as part of the NC Orthoimagery Program. Therefore, these services will be deactivated November 2nd, 2016.
As in previous years, the final imagery will be back for good in February 2017 and will be avalable as a download and as web services. If you have any feedback, please contact us.
